  2. Corny Country Corn Bread

  5. Quantity: makes 6 to 8 servings

  7. Ingredients:
  8. 1 cup cornmeal                1 cup flour
  9. 4 teaspoons baking powder     1/2 teaspoon salt
  10. 1 cup milk                    2 eggs
  11. 1/3 cup margarine, melted     1/4 cup honey
  12. 1/4 teaspoon rosemary         1 10 oz. can cream style
  13.                               corn

  15. Instructions:
  16. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  17. Mix dry ingredients.  Add combined milk, eggs, margarine and
  18. honey, mixing  just until moistened.
  19. Pour into well-greased 9 or 10 inch skillet.
  20. Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in
  21. center comes out clean.

  24. Serve warm with butter.
  25. Variation:  Bake in a 8-inch square pan.
